Holiday Inn South Beach Resort, 2201 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, Florida

Built in 1966 and operated as a Holiday Inn until 2006, Oceanside Resorts purchased the Holiday Inn South Beach in 1987. Located directly on a 3.84-acre oceanfront site in historic South Beach, Oceanside completed an award-winning renovation of this 355-key, three star hotel in 2000.

Amenities included concierge services, a pool & poolside Jacuzzi, beach concessions, and a state-of-the-art fitness center, and five on-site food & beverage facilities including a poolside Tiki Bar and an Outback Steakhouse®. In 2004, Oceanside sold the property to a group of New York developers. Oceanside continued to operate the Holiday Inn South Beach until June 2006 when the property was demolished for the construction of a “W” Hotel & Residences.
